Back on Monday, three days a week, baby will be nearly seven months. I finally asked HR where I could pump and there was a long pause and then my manager said I could use the accessible toilet by reception "whenever you need". And I said thank you, that's great, because I am apparently incapable of saying anything else in that room.
It is a toilet. By reception. With no lock on the outer door and a hand dryer that could wake the dead. I would be sitting on a loo attached to a machine for twenty minutes twice a day, twice more if I want to keep this going properly, and washing pump parts in a sink people have just used.
I do not want to be difficult in my first week back. But I also do not want to give up feeding because of a room. Has anyone actually got this changed, and what did you say?
