Megan Foster, IBCLC
Lactation Consultant (IBCLC)
Megan Foster is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). Day to day she helps families with latch, positioning, milk supply, pumping, and the ordinary problems of feeding a baby, and she brings that same eye to Breastfeedo’s feeding articles.
She checks that the way the site explains how breastfeeding works, how to solve the common problems, and how to express and store milk lines up with the evidence and with guidance from the World Health Organization, UNICEF, and the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine.
Her involvement is about getting the facts right, not about assessing you. Nothing here can stand in for someone looking at your own situation in person, a midwife, health visitor, lactation consultant, or doctor.
